Kate Hudson has revealed whether she will have more children in the future.
The 43-year-old actress recently opened up about being a mother of three and calling her 40s the « best bags » of her life.
« I’ve had kids my entire adult life, » Hudson said in a new interview with Byrdie. « I have my four-year-old and a kid who’s going to college. I don’t even know if I’m done. You know I don’t have that answer yet.

The Glass Onion star shares her 18-year-old son Ryder with ex-husband Chris Robinson and her 11-year-old son Bingham with her ex-husband Matt Bellamy. Hudson also shares her four-year-old daughter Lani with fiancé Danny Fujikawa.
In January 2004
When she was 24, Hudson welcomed her first child, Ryder, the lead singer of Black Crows. The pair separated in 2006 after six years of marriage and finalized their divorce in October 2007.
The star began dating muse musician Matthew Bellamy in spring 2010 and confirmed in January 2011 that they were expecting a child. The engaged couple welcomed their son Bingham in July 2011, when Hudson was in his 30s, but called off the engagement in December 2014.
Now, the near-fame actor is in love with his current fiancé and boyfriend of 15 years, Danny Fujikawa. The couple welcomed daughter Rani in October 2018 and got engaged in September 2021.
Although Kate Hudson is open to having more kids later
She says her 40s are her favorite decade so far.
« Now I know why all my friends who are 40+ years older than me say, ‘This is my best. This is my favorite decade,' » she told Byrdie.
While Hudson admits she « didn’t really think about aging in the entertainment industry, » she believes women in Hollywood have higher standards than men.
« The focus is on the outside
Not the inside, which I think says a lot about the way we’re programmed, » she continued. « Because the only time I think about aging is when I’m asked how I feel about aging. Everyone wants to talk about, you know, what women do to their faces. Or how women age. I love all that stuff. I love talking about what the new lasers are, but the funny thing is, guys don’t really get the same problem. But you know, they care about aging just as much. »
Instead of feeling pressured to maintain her appearance
Hudson feels that getting older is about prioritizing the important things in her life.
« I think getting old is hard because it brings you closer to the inevitable — we’re impermanent, » she said. « The question is: what are you looking for in life? What makes you feel energized and excited to be part of this experience? ».
